My name is Daniel, but my students call me Dr G. I recently ended an 11-year position as a tenured History/Social Science Professor at the College of New Rochelle (NY). As a professor and long-time chair of the History Department, I taught, tutored, mentored and advised thousands of students in history, social studies and college writing. I regularly taught courses in the College Writing Program, the Freshman Experience Program and the summer College Knowledge Bridge Program for incoming freshmen cohorts.
I taught interdisciplinary upper division seminars for students in the Department of Social Sciences (including Political Science, Sociology, Economics, International Studies and History.) I received my Master’s and PhD in History (with a secondary specialty in Geography) at the University of California at Berkeley. I have taught US, World & Military History for over 20 years at colleges and universities on both the West and East coasts. I write history and excel in online tutoring specializing in academic work and standardized testing (GRE Verbal tutoring, SAT tutoring and the SAT US & World Subject Test tutoring.)
